Joseph R. DiMaggio has been in the legal and financial industry for over 30 years. During that time, he was a practicing attorney in California, an independent market maker on the floor of the Pacific Coast Options Exchange and the Chicago Board Options Exchange, ran an options trading desk for Goldman Sachs, was a Managing Director at a hedge fund and owned his own options consulting firm. 

He graduated from the University of Rochester with a degree in Economics and obtained a Management Certificate from the Simon School of Business Administration. He went on to receive his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and was a litigator in California.  These experiences and positions have given him a diverse and deep understanding of the financial landscape and shaped his investment philosophy. 

In 2013, Mr. DiMaggio joined forces with Bruce Shubert, veteran of financial services, who had run his own financial advising firm for over 45 years. Mr. DiMaggio has transitioned Mr. Shubert’s business to High Peaks Asset Management as Mr. Shubert fully retired in 2020 

Mr. DiMaggio has parlayed the knowledge and acumen obtained under Mr. Shubert’s tutelage to service Mr. Shubert’s very loyal client base as well as to grow High Peaks Asset Management. High Peaks Asset Management provides invaluable service, advice and guidance to its many clients and entities.
